In the winter of 2021/22 we started considering adding a second dog to our home. We wanted a dog who would be good with people and other dogs, had energy but could also be gentle, and would be happy to spend lots of time outdoors with us. 

We came upon Golden Retriever Haven and the testimonials and reviews led us to contacting Allan, who had a litter upcoming (Amber/Major). Allan answered all of our questions up front and was great to deal with. 

We brought Stevie home in March 2022 and she's been a wonderful addition to our family ever since. She is an incredibly happy dog and loves people and other dogs. She's always been great with our kids and will wrestle with them on the floor or try to curl up on their laps even though she's now too big for that! Despite the fact that she's less than a year old, people often comment on how calm she is for a puppy. She definitely has puppy energy and loves running around and going on long walks, but she's also content to lay at our feet or curl up with us on the couch. 

Stevie is everything we hoped for in a dog and we're so happy she's part of our family.
