We got to take home our sweet girl, Piper Drew, in October. 

When looking to add a golden retriever puppy to our family, we came across Allan’s ad online. 

Living in British Columbia and seeing he is based out of Manitoba, we weren’t sure how that would work and were wary of not being able to meet her in person first. We were pleasantly surprised! We set up a video chat with Allan and talked with him and his wife for over 45 minutes. We got to meet her parents virtually (Major and Hannah) and he answered all of our million questions about his breeding program. 

When it came time to set a date for Piper to fly and come join us, Allan was incredibly accommodating and ensured the dates and times worked for us. Because we live in a smaller town in BC, there were no direct flights from Manitoba. Allan put in the time and effort with WestJet and made sure she was taken care of during her layover in Calgary before she joined us in Kelowna, BC. When we picked her up from the airport, we noticed right away how well-adjusted she was and didn’t seem to be phased at all that she had just spent an entire day travelling. She immediately knew we were her new family and she has been amazing ever since. 

We had the best experience with Allan and Golden Retriever Haven and would recommend them to anyone!
